A step in the right direction

As I mentioned before, Sylvia's started standing up on her own. Today, during Relief Society, she had quite a bit of fun starting from a sitting position, standing, and then sitting right back down again. I must admit, her antics were rather distracting from the video on the stonecutter who carved, "Holiness to the Lord" on the Salt Lake Temple that I was supposed to be watching. Anyway, one of the times she stood she actually took a couple of steps. Not real walking, but she's definitely on her way!

  1. She was so cute in church! She sure jabbers and has a lot to say. I didn't notice her taking steps but that is great!

  2. It wasn't much of a step--she didn't move forward. It was more like she picked up her feet after she stood up and stepped in place. My mom says it doesn't count until she walks between Derrick and me anyway! :)

  3. I saw your comment on my photo blog and I wasn't sure about your question... what do you mean by post-processing? I'm kinda dumb when it comes to computers :)

  4. I guess I've been hanging out at too many photography blogs lately :) I was just wondering what program you use to adjust colors, change to b&w, crop, or whatever after you've taken and downloaded the picture. I know a lot of people who use picasa or photoshop, and I use gimp, but I was wondering what you're using. I love the pictures you've got up on your blog. They're well-composed and the colors really pop!

  5. Oh, I've been using Picnik.com and I really like it. It's easy, like Picasa. I would love to use gimp or photoshop but haven't gotten that far yet.
Picnik is nice and you can load 5 pictures at a time (unless you pay their monthly fee) Once you are finished with a photo you can save it directly to your computer. I would say it is a step up from picasa, which I previously used.
